I get asked this question a lot too.

The answer is I need a minimum of 3 warm bodies are required to give you a good and competitive price for a good benefit plan without any restrictions.  We can do it with 2 employees only but the rate goes up 48% and many companies won’t even quote it.
Now I say 3 people but it is actually only 2, if a third employee is waived for health and dental.
For example, a small business with a husband, a wife, and one other employee.  All 3 go on the plan but the wife can waive coverage and go on as her husband’s dependent so there is only 2 employees getting health and dental and one – the wife will be on for just life insurance benefits which is usually just $5.00/mo.

Why pay an extra 48% when all we need is one extra employee who is waived.  It is much cheaper for you.  We love small business.
